How our Memory Meadow works

The St Luke's Memory Meadow is dedicated to those loved ones who are no longer with us, but are never forgotten. Each daisy represents the life of someone who is loved and missed.

To make a dedication, choose your daisy; write a message, including a photo if you wish, and make a donation to celebrate the life of the person you are remembering.

Your loved one's daisy will then be placed in the Meadow where it will stay throughout the summer months. If you wish, while your daisy is in the meadow, you can also share your dedication on Facebook or Twitter to let others know you're remembering someone you love.

What is Celebration of Life?

We understand that loved ones who are no longer with us are missed all year round. The St Luke's Celebration of Life is an opportunity to share precious memories of your loved one and to celebrate their life. You can find out more about the event here .

If you would like to make a donation towards our care in memory of your loved one, our Celebration of Life is a great opportunity not only to support St Luke's but also to celebrate their life by making a dedication.

Today, St Luke's faces unprecedented pressure, caring for more people and seeing more complex cases. It costs:
  • £24, which could pay for a one hour activity session at Clifford House.
  • £46, which could buy a blood pressure monitor for a nurse’s kit bag to allow them to assess a patient in the comfort of their own home and deliver tailored, specialist, palliative care.
  • £65, which could pay for a family to receive two hours of bereavement support from a bereavement councillor.
